Adding up: Irish students among global accounting elite


Worldwide Joanna Jaskiewicz, Larry Mahon, Sam Malone and Andrea Orosz from Dublin were all placed in the global top 10 in the Audit and Assurance exam while Tracy Nyham and Kevin George Ayres also from Dublin were placed in the top 10 in the Strategic Business Reporting examination in June of last year.

FIVE Irish accountancy students have been placed in the top 1pc globally after competing with 132,000 students across the world in the latest Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exam sitting.

Joanna Jaskiewicz, Larry Mahon, Sam Malone and Andrea Orosz from Dublin were all placed in the global top 10 in the Audit and Assurance exam.

Meanwhile, Tracy Nyham placed in the top 10 in the Strategic Business Reporting examination in June of last year.

The graduates were recognised for their achievements at a ceremony in Dublin.
